- About to CEHES 2026 !
The 2026 International Conference on Civil Engineering, Water Resources and Structural Seismic Resistance (CEHES 2026) will be held grandly in Zhuhai, the core city of the Guangdong Hong Kong Macao Greater Bay Area in China. This conference focuses on cutting-edge technologies and engineering practices in the fields of civil and hydraulic engineering and structural seismic and disaster prevention. It is committed to building a high-level, interdisciplinary international academic exchange platform, bringing together experts, scholars, researchers, design engineers, construction technology experts, government disaster prevention managers, and emergency agency representatives in structural engineering, geotechnical engineering, hydraulic engineering, disaster prevention and mitigation, earthquake engineering, intelligent monitoring, and urban resilience construction. The conference will focus on in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as seismic design theory and methods for major infrastructure in high-intensity areas, seismic performance evaluation and reinforcement technology for water conservancy engineering structures (such as dams, water gates, and water conveyance tunnels), research and development of new seismic isolation materials and devices, liquefaction and slope stability control of foundations under complex geological conditions, seismic performance of prefabricated buildings and bridge structures, seismic risk assessment and resilience improvement strategies for urban building clusters, seismic simulation and damage prediction based on BIM and digital twins, structural health monitoring and intelligent warning systems, engineering response mechanisms under multi disaster coupling such as typhoons and earthquakes, and safety analysis of marine engineering structures under extreme loads. Through various forms such as keynote speeches, thematic forums, paper presentations, technical exhibitions, and analysis of typical earthquake damage cases, we aim to promote the transformation and engineering application of seismic technology achievements. CEHES 2026 emphasizes the core concept of "scientific earthquake resistance, intelligent disaster prevention, and strengthening the foundation", and is committed to serving the national disaster prevention and mitigation system and resilient city construction, enhancing the safety performance and recovery capacity of infrastructure in extreme natural disasters. The high-quality papers accepted by the conference will be recommended for publication in international journals indexed by SCI, EI, or Scopus to enhance academic influence.

All full paper submissions to the CEHES 2026 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of CEHES 2026 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

-Submission Guidelines-
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to cehes@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
Call for Reviewers
As a platform for global academic communication, the quality of conference publication has always an aspect attracting much of our attention. To ensure quality of our publication and to better serve the peers in academic circle, we now call for reviewers among professionals and experts of the world. Professionals and experts who hold PhD (doctoral) degree in the conference related areas are encouraged to join in us and together, we will work hard to become a world-class academic conference. SCI JOURNAL
