- About to CEHES 2025 !
The International Conference on Civil Engineering, Water Resources and Structural Seismic Resistance in 2025 (CEHES 2025) will be held grandly in Chengdu, China. The theme of this conference is "Safety Resilience, Green Intelligence", focusing on the sustainable development of major infrastructure in complex environments and earthquake risks. It brings together experts, scholars, engineering technicians, and representatives from research institutions in the fields of civil engineering, water conservancy engineering, structural seismic resistance, geological hazard prevention and intelligent monitoring from around the world to explore cutting-edge theories, innovative technologies, and engineering practices, and enhance the disaster resistance and resilience of urban and rural infrastructure. Chengdu is located in the southwestern earthquake zone of China and is a key area for national disaster prevention and reduction. It has also developed rapidly in areas such as rail transit, high-rise buildings, large-scale water conservancy hubs, and urban renewal. It has accumulated rich experience in seismic design, seismic isolation technology, and disaster prevention planning for mountainous cities, providing valuable regional background and practical cases for the conference. CEHES 2025 will focus on in-depth exchanges on key issues such as high-performance seismic structural systems, seismic performance of large-span bridges and tunnels, safety assessment of hydraulic structures, application of BIM and digital twin technology in disaster prevention, structural health monitoring and intelligent warning systems, green building materials and low-carbon construction, and geological hazard risk assessment and prevention. The conference will invite several well-known academicians, university professors, and chief engineers from design institutes at home and abroad to give keynote speeches, sharing their experience in seismic design of major projects and the latest scientific research achievements. Simultaneously establish a forum for young scholars, showcase graduate papers, and select outstanding papers to promote academic innovation and talent growth. All accepted papers will be included in the conference proceedings and submitted for search in international authoritative databases such as EI Compendix, Scopus, CPCI, etc. CEHES 2025 cordially invites colleagues from around the world to gather in Chengdu, known as the "Land of Abundance," to jointly build a safe and sustainable engineering future, and promote the intelligent and green development of civil engineering, water conservancy, and seismic technology.

All full paper submissions to the CEHES 2025 could be written in English and will be sent to at least two reviewers and evaluated based on originality, technical or research content or depth, correctness, relevance to conference, contributions, and readability. All accepted papers of CEHES 2025 will be published in the conference proceedings, which will be submitted to EI Compendex, Scopus for indexing.

-Submission Guidelines-
Delegates are encouraged to submit their papers/abstracts to the conference. Good quality papers will be selected by the organizing committee and Prof. Soteris Kalogirou, the editor in chief. After it, the authors will be invited to extent their papers/abstracts and submit them to cehes@sub-paper.com. The normal size of research papers is 4,000-6,000 words excluding abstract and references.
Call for Reviewers
As a platform for global academic communication, the quality of conference publication has always an aspect attracting much of our attention. To ensure quality of our publication and to better serve the peers in academic circle, we now call for reviewers among professionals and experts of the world. Professionals and experts who hold PhD (doctoral) degree in the conference related areas are encouraged to join in us and together, we will work hard to become a world-class academic conference. SCI JOURNAL
Contributors are encouraged to submit papers / abstracts to the conference. The organizing committee will select high-quality papers and recommend them to SCI/SSCI journals. For specific matters, please contact the person in charge of the conferrence.
